HKEX is a recognised exchange controller under the SFO. HKEX operates the only recognised stock and futures markets in Hong Kong through its wholly owned subsidiaries SEHK and HKFE and is the frontline regulator of listed issuers in Hong Kong. In collaboration with the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges HKEX operates Stock Connect which gives investors in Hong Kong and Mainland China access to each other's securities markets. HKEX also provides market data through HKEX Information Services Limited and HKEX Information Services China Limited.

Principally engaged in (a) consumer Finance: provision of consumer, SME and other financing, (b) private credit: provision of structured and specialty financing, (c) mortgage loans: provision of mortgage loans financing, (d) investment management: portfolio investments and provision of structured and specialty financing, (e) funds management: provision of fund management service, (f ) group management and support: provision of liquidity, supervisory and administrative functions to all business segments.

Principally engaged in securities and futures brokerage, securities investment consulting, securities trading, financial advisory related to securities investment activities, securities underwriting and sponsorship, securities proprietary trading, intermediary introduction services for futures companies, distribution of securities investment funds, margin financing and securities lending services, distribution of financial products, stock option market making business, and securities investment fund custody; investment management, asset management, equity investment, fund management business, financial leasing business and other business activities approved by the CSRC.

Principal activities are investment and finance – investment and provision of mortgage loan and term loan financing; consumer finance – provision of consumer, SME and other financing; property development – the business of development of properties; property investment – property rental and hotel operations managed by third parties; property management – provision of property management, cleaning and security guarding services; elderly care services – provision of elderly care services and related business operations including property development of independent living units and project management of health campus; healthcare services – operations of hospitals; corporate and other operations – including corporate revenue and expenses, other operations and results of unallocated operations.

Principally engaged in investment activities and the provision of financial services.
